Paul Signac not only systematized the color separation method theoretically, but also utilized larger and more rhythmic color dots in his creations to precisely capture the light and shadow of the water surface through the arrangement of color dots.<\/p>\n<p>They continued and deepened the Impressionists&#8217; pursuit of natural light and color, pushing it to the ultimate rationality. Painters no longer pre-mixed the pigments but placed pure color dots in an orderly manner, relying on the visual mixture of the human eye to form rich tones, making the colors of the picture brighter and purer. They used the color division method to shift the painting from intuitive capture to rational construction.
