A bit of artistic insight |Spatial Emotional Healing – Through the Five Elements and Five Colors
The fast-paced life is prone to causing emotional exhaustion, making the need for a healing space a must. The five-element colors, carrying the wisdom of thousands of years, are centered on energy harmony and serve as the bond connecting space with the body and mind.
The five elements and five colors correspond to metal, wood, water, fire and earth, white, green, black, red and yellow respectively. They not only deeply root in cultural heritage but also transform ancient wisdom into the regulation of spatial emotions. Following the generation and overcoming relationships of the five elements, the living room is dominated by yellow, which belongs to earth, creating a stable and harmonious atmosphere; the bedroom is suitable for green, which belongs to wood, helping to sleep and soothe the mind, and restore physical and mental health; the study integrates black, which belongs to water, calming the mind and enhancing concentration; the entrance hall is dominated by white, which belongs to metal, clean and bright, purifying the energy field; the balcony takes advantage of red, which belongs to fire, bringing in light and good fortune, invigorating vitality and dispelling fatigue. By combining natural materials and appropriate lighting, energy transmission can be strengthened, conforming to the spatial adjustment concept of “harmony between man and nature”, resolving negative emotions and achieving energy balance.
The healing space created with the core of the five elements’ colors does not lie in visual decoration, but in the harmony of energy and the body and mind. Ultimately, it achieves the synchronous coexistence of the space and the self, becoming a haven for emotions and highlighting the contemporary value of traditional elements.
